WHERE TO USE – SUITABLE FOR MUNICIPAL TAP WATER AND WELL WATER – Sediment filter assembly can be installed after the pump so that sediments gets filtered and then water gets pumped to overhead tank. It is suitable for 1 HP/2 HP motor and has 1 inch inlet/outlet port
REDUCES SEDIMENTS AND FOOD GRADE MATERIAL – Filters sand, mud, rust, scale and suspended particles up to 5 micron size. The filter housing is made of reinforced polypropylene material for strength and resistance to chemicals. Food grade material makes all filtered water safe and healthy for use
SPUN CARTRIDGE (20 Inch) – Made of high grade polypropylene material and used in any prefilter housing that supports 20 inch cartridge. Spun cartridge can be replaced after every 3-6 months depending on the water quality at the water inlet
INSTALLATION – The product comes with all the tools required for installation and can be easily installed in the mainline with the help of plumber. Please contact RiverSoft customer care in case of any issue related to installation

Good decent product
Good filtering. It is heavy, so recommend to keep any brick or wood block under it instead of hanging it to pipes. Recommended buy. Cons: the screws provided are not long, should have included washer with it.

This filter is good and no leakage. Cartridge is also coming for more times(above3 months).

Sturdy and good product
Quality of the product is good. I have fixed it before water pumed to overhead tank along with bypass. Will have to see how long filter works

Excellent product
I have connected it to the main line from the overhead tank to the house and NOT to the inlet of the overhead tank. so water pressure has dropped by 30% but then the water that looked like espresso is super clean after fixing this. I’m definitely happy but they need to make replacement filters easily available. I could not find the 20″ 1 micron replacement filters on Amazon

Also, install a by-pass pipeline in case you want to fill your tank when the filter is choked or damaged.Use union fitting to easily remove the filter assembly when you want to replace it entirely (See attached video).Pros- Well water which was brownish/murky gets converted to crystal clear water after filtering- Easy to install (by plumber, requires pipe fittings)- No leaks after installation- Good customer supportCons- Water hardness is not removed- Backwash is not possible, so cartridge cannot be re-used- Spun cartridge life is only 6 months after which it must be replacedI will post more details after first cartridge replacement.
