Worthy upgrade but only for specific setup
I have upgraded echo to 5th gen from 3rd gen and with new tempreture sensors, motion detection and some small feature upgrades it is a really a good upgrade choice. If you have ac, heater devices with smart features then you can control them using alexa and also the room occupancy feature is great to control light and also can be used to secure house. But again these are special use cases.The speaker sound quality is better than 3rd gen but the volume is too inconsistent. With two echo 5th gen even drop in mic sound was sometimes low. It seems to adjusting its volume while in use.This product does not have led clock and its disappointing that echo dot 5th gen with clock is not yet released in India.
